I just found out that being registered online in no way confirms your acceptance for the PCA event. I registered and sent in my payment about 1.5-2 weeks ago and apparently I was on the waitlist and never knew it. They have a very shitty registration system. So everyone who hasn't been confirmed needs to check the site and see if they are waitlisted now and email Nadine Saville at nsaville@carolina.rr.com to see where you are on the waitlist and send your payments in immediately if you haven't already.

Checking the roster I see that the following people that I thought were coming are NOT listed:

Broom996
SandSanta
Golovko

I got an email yesterday saying that there was a spot open in the event and that if I wanted the spot to let her know ASAP or she was going to move along the waitlist. I thought maybe I didn't actually sent my check or it got lost in the mail but she already had it. She said that registration was confirmed based on payment received.

i sent my check probably the same time as ^, if not a day earlier,

it also depends on the run group, there will be a lot more novice runners, than advance runners. so they have more spots in the advance groups then they will in the novice groups.
