I don't know but Shaka Hislop is my boy.. I didn't realize he was from T&T.. West Ham represent..This is actually some good pace early..
6/10/2006 12:12:39 PM
Kelvin Jack is their other keeper. Apparently no one informed ABC that he was not starting, because they had him listed on their lineup card, and continue to call him that.
6/10/2006 12:14:04 PM
The Univision pregame had him listed on the lineup screen, too, but there were three clear shots of "HISLOP" on the back of his shirt and they still called him Jack, so I was wondering if some crazy thing had happened with a missing shirt or something. I was just making sure I wasn't crazy, because I knew it looked like Shaka.
6/10/2006 12:16:17 PM
these refs aren't calling shit on anybody. let's see a fight...
6/10/2006 12:27:54 PM
T&T aren't looking great, but they're looking better than Paraguay...making a few nice moves forward while still holding Ljungberg/Larsson/Ibrahimovic who are putting together some dangerous attacking plays.
6/10/2006 12:32:20 PM
the end of the 1st T&T actually put together some decent looking attacks, should be a better 2nd half than i expected going into this game.figured it be all sweden all the way
6/10/2006 12:54:18 PM
I made Larsson the captain of my fantasy team, thinking he'd score at least twice.*shrug*GO CONCACAF
6/10/2006 12:57:46 PM
That is bullshit.. he got the ball. Swallow the card and just give the foul..
6/10/2006 1:05:16 PM
BULLSHIT.
6/10/2006 1:05:53 PM
I should've picked Hislop instead of Petr Cech.
6/10/2006 1:19:50 PM
C'mon T&T!!!!!
6/10/2006 1:43:18 PM
wow! T&T seriously played waaaay better than expected!I totally enjoyed their game with Sweden more than the England-Paraguay match
6/10/2006 1:59:52 PM
Ya. Very exciting match. Sweeden did not look sharp at all, but they kept going for it.The yellow on Sweeden looked much worse than the red card on TnT too. That was a terrible call.[Edited on June 10, 2006 at 2:07 PM. Reason : ]
6/10/2006 2:06:22 PM
woke up late, only saw the 2nd halfvery good defensive effort from t+t
6/10/2006 2:12:54 PM
Edwards, Sancho and Hislop played an incredible game.
6/10/2006 2:16:00 PM
Go CONCACAF!
6/10/2006 2:17:52 PM
aight, its time to see how my elephants can do
6/10/2006 2:24:54 PM
Great result for the trinis. Everyone expected them to be three losses and out, and they get the draw after they go 10-on-11.
6/10/2006 2:26:13 PM
that game was awesome, sweden couldnt score
6/10/2006 2:43:03 PM
6/10/2006 2:45:10 PM
Wow, I thought that was a goal. C'mon IVC
6/10/2006 3:16:50 PM
Argies' chance wasn't really close to going over with that last replay. The juggling in the box by CIV (Kalou?) was nice. This game looks like it'll be the barn burner that was expected.Shep Messing is fucking annoying, and this play-by-play guy is almost as bad as Dave O'Brien...HELLO UNIVISION. It's sad that out of the six commentators I've heard today, only Dellacamera hasn't driven me crazy.Goal Crespo, 1-0 ARG.
6/10/2006 3:24:20 PM
wow, what a save. Most entertaining match today.
6/10/2006 3:35:47 PM
GREAT save. And just like that, Saviola makes it 2-0 on a failed offside trap that left THREE Argies free.
6/10/2006 3:38:37 PM
2 of the 3 were offsidesand this is by far the best game today.. even if they dont get a result against Argentina, I still think IVC is gonna caus the rest of the group some problems and could come out of the group with Argentina[Edited on June 10, 2006 at 3:48 PM. Reason : a]
6/10/2006 3:48:05 PM
Ivorians not playing all that bad, but they're still down 2-0, and it should be 3-1 (no way saving a ball between the legs is skill, all luck).Ivorians need to learn how to finish.
6/10/2006 3:55:35 PM
6/10/2006 3:56:30 PM
I watched ~20 minutes of him, and he repeated three things ad nauseum and nothing else:1. CIV had a handball in the box that should've been a PK.2. I'm a former goalkeeper.3. Drogba is a great target.I'll admit that in general I'm not a fan of two-man teams calling soccer matches, but I'll take the Spanish histrionics any day over this shit.
6/10/2006 4:03:54 PM
Has anyone had any luck getting through to the BBC live stream with a proxy?[Edited on June 10, 2006 at 4:11 PM. Reason : ]

Drogba pulls one back with a great finish, 2-1 Argies with seven minutes left.
6/10/2006 4:41:06 PM
!GOL! !GOL! !GOL! !GOL! !GOL! !GOL!
6/10/2006 4:42:11 PM
I'm really happy for Ivory Coast, I wish they could win...I guess they still have a chance, they are doing pretty well at attacking the goal right now
6/10/2006 4:45:49 PM
Even a draw would be fine...there's no reason the Ivors can't get out of their group, but an extra point wouldn't hurt. You want to talk about a game where millions will be willing a side to win, let's talk about Angola/Portugal tomorrow. [Edited on June 10, 2006 at 4:49 PM. Reason : d]
6/10/2006 4:48:31 PM
3 minutes added time + Argentina substition = final whistle before 3 minute mark of added time?
6/10/2006 4:52:03 PM
Could they have mentioned Riquelme any more? Every single time he touched it, it was "his touch is so great, his vision, blah blah blah"If Ivory Coast would've played with more intensity in the middle 30 minutes of the game, it could've easily been a tie
6/10/2006 4:55:02 PM
Ivory Coast.. at least they scored a goal..
6/10/2006 4:55:11 PM
^^ Yeah, their commentary is based way too much on reputation.
6/10/2006 4:56:40 PM
I was about tired of the commentator talking about how he was a former goal keeper and he knows what it's like blah blah...
6/10/2006 4:58:57 PM
^hahaha, I totally feel ya on that

cheater
6/10/2006 8:51:32 PM
A cheater perhaps, but his other goal in that game is probably the best goal of all time.
6/10/2006 10:38:47 PM
^^^I've yet to be able to do the maradona during a game...I can do it just playing around though...it's easy once you know how to do it
6/10/2006 11:02:32 PM
haha, i like how the guy in the back is totally ignoring the match and is busy taking pics of MaradonaI guess I'll do the same if I was sitting there...
6/11/2006 12:03:38 AM
^ The Argies had just scored, there was nothing to watch.
6/11/2006 12:13:04 AM
I didn't get to watch much of the England game (sleeping), but saw the other 2. Those 2 were great. I usually don't openly cheer for anyone besides my own team, but damn I was wanting T&T to win that game. For them, tying Sweden was almost as good as winning the cup. The Ivory Coast Vs Argentina game was good as well. Can't wait for tomorrow, as we find out if Iran bombs anyone.
6/11/2006 1:05:09 AM
I hate Drogba when he's playing for Chelsea, but I couldn't help but cheer for him today. It's too bad Cote D'Ivoire lost, they have a lot of talent.Serbia & Montenegro v Netherlands in the mornin
6/11/2006 1:18:39 AM
Robben has been going crazy in this game, but what a ball by Robin Van Persie to spring him for the goal.
