Maybe its just me, or maybe I notice it more lately....just seems to be unbelievable inconsistency in NFL lately. In all sports, but seems like just way more in NFL this year. I guess its all the free agency, etc. and I'm just noticing it more with an asston of losses last 3 weeks.
Just amazing that Jags can compete with Indy, but can barely beat SanFran at home. I know there are letdowns but SF is terrible. Bucs can dominate Panthers, who at times look great, and then play like absolute garbage vs. NE in a game they really need. The list can go on and on. Look at Dallas last week against Chiefs, then they lay down completely against Skins.

Rally, way to get that teaser. I got that part (seahawks) but then missed Colts. I also had Seahawks -7. Can't believe they get up 14-0 and then allow 24 in a row to Titans who are just as bad as Texans. Amazing.

ok so for X-Mas presents for 4 people I'm going to put 100 bucks on their favorite teams to win the Superbowl (Pats and Panthers). I need to place a bet tomorrow, but I know all the lines have changed since this weekend, as the Colts lost. Any guesses as to what the odds may be in the morning? I'm thinking the Pats between 4 and 5 to 1 and the Panthers between 6 and 8 to 1. Thoughts???

Motherfucker. Ended up +$400 for the day, but would have been up $1,000 if the Seahawks would have covered -7. I nailed the Panthers, Steelers and Bengals in my 4-team parlay, but Seattle fucked it up. I had big bets on each game and a big teaser with Seattle at a pk and Cincy at -1.

I know +$400 is solid, but I'm extremely disappointed. Today had some of the easiest lines that I'll see for a long time and I only made $400 when I should have cleared a grand.

And not to criticize those that played the Vikings, but a LOT of gamblers were talking about today's Steelers game being their play of the year.

Denver and Cincy should be decent plays next week.

Indiana is only -3 at Charlotte tonight. Whoa, momma. I only put $40 on it because it smells like a trap, but Charlotte has sucked some ass this season and if they don't have an answer for Killingsworth, it's going to be a looooooong night.

I also took Pepperdine +17.5 at Kansas. Their blowouts have tended to be just below 20 points and they're coming off a decent performance. If they can contain Rush, they should cover. Also, I just love getting that many points in college basketball this season.

Like LSU as well.

Also took the over in the ORL/TOR game and the DET/MEM game.

I'm sorry, but Vikings were the right play there. I hate being on the "right side" and losing money, but Vikings should have won that game, or at least covered.

Vikings in red zone 3 times in 1st half. One they have like 1st and goal at the 2 after a fumbled punt. They get 3 points. Steelers get a 84-yd punt return to set up a TD. Vikes miss a FG at end of half. Vikes get a FG blocked in 2nd half that could have made it 10-6. Steelers get a FG and then Vikes fumble the kickoff to give Steelers another FG.
Pitt offense did next to nothing the whole game. All Minn had to do was get a lead on them. Pitt can't come from behind. Minn special teams lost that game on 2 FG's, a punt return, and a fumble.
Very similar to the way Giants was right side when Minn beat them with all those returns.
Pitt defense is good and I give them credit, but Pitt offense...should have been an easy cover for Minn.

I took SMiss and Over. That fumble at the 1 was really nice. Also nice to see offensive holding in the end zone. Could have been a safety but instead a 15 yard face mask.

Anyone think UNC - 4 1/2 is a trap? I read somewhere that 95% of public is on UNC. I was thinking of taking UNC ML but now not sure.

I was doing a lot better, but had a bad day yesterday. Took Akron, and it wasn't nearly as close as score ended up.
Not sure why I even bet NFL anymore. Last month I can't hit anything.
I took Jets +9 and Under. Felt really good about Under. I guess pick for 6 hurt the most there. Jets almost covered, but they are just horrible. I was going with home team, and against public, with a lot of points. I also didn't know if Pat starters would play whole game. Prob. should have just not played it.
I also forgot that its a crime to call a penalty against Pats.

I'm thinking in this case the +240 is on NEITHER team making the Super Bowl. So if either seattle, who is 8-0 at home, or the colts, who are 6-1, make the game, I get paid 1200 on my wager. Is this the correct wording? No means that at least one of the teams will play, while Yes means that the the propistion is true, and neither team will play? The reason I ask is that the odds almost seem like they should be reversed, with 2.4 to 1 odds going against either team making the super bowl. It seems very likely that at least one team will make it. Am I reading this correctly, or does it seem conspicuously worded?

Some nice looking lines tonight in college basketball.

Michigan +9.5 is about to start. Indiana has dominated them the last few seasons, but this is a better squad and I like getting that many points for a 10-1 team.
