When I first suggested this, it wouldnt have been much of an advantage, but now some of the pages for names starting with a letter are a chain over 10 pages long. There should be an optional second letter selection bar after you click the first letter to avoid long user pages and searching through them too much.

Or how about just a photo gallery search (by user name that is)?

^qwerty is awful. my nemisis, even. congrats on 1k posts....

i think a search would be great, would save a lot of time and probably some bandwidth, save ppl from <main | photogallery | letter | (letter) | scroll & search | user> and cut it to <main | search | user>

sounds like a good idea, but in the meantime you could do a search for anything in the message board where user name sounds like "Insane Man" and see what comes up. Then go to http://www.thewolfweb.com/photo_folder.aspx?folder=persons-user-name

yeah its a pain, but it works for the most part.

or you could search for a post by them, click user info, then photo gallery.
