I had an interesting thought about time travel the other day.

I don't know how versed/well-versed in physics you'd have to be to accomplish it, but even if you know how to go back in time, calculating WHERE to go would be crazy hard. The Earth is moving about the Sun, which moves about the center of the Milky Way, which moves about the center of etc etc, all hurtling through the abyss. What kind of coordinate system would you even use? Could you even use a coordinate system at all, being that they're all man-made?

You'd just.. zap to 100 million years ago and be like.. well Earth is 300 billion miles (Google figure) THAT way. Calculate intercept time and coordinates, etc. FYI Voyager I is 15 billion miles away right now.
