emnsk, how much undergrad instruction takes place on Centennial Campus now? Back in my day, it was mostly Polymer Science classes over there.

Actually, you forgot the whole College of Textiles (and Poland).

Maybe you're being facetious.

Textile Engineers now identify as Polymer Scientists.

Significant amount. After your first year for engineers (where you do the basic math, science routine), your classes are generally all on centennial (it's where all the engineering is now).

But with that, I don't think there's much overlap from non-engineers on Centennial. I don't think any Business major for example would ever have an important reason to go over there beyond DELTA, unless they're "interdisciplinarily" minded

The big DELTA testing center (I don't know if you guys had this around back then), where you can sign up to take tests for certain classes, is on Centennial too. Cox has one too, but it's pretty small.

There's also a French business school exchange program type thing over there.

But it's still a place where you have to have a reason to be there, otherwise it's kind of empty. Which makes sense, it's the corporate / research part. Some engineering clubs have their own spots and are buzzing throughout the day, but that's only if you're involved in them

^ Yeah, I heard about this back then. Doesn't seem like anything new came out since. It's people like that guy that make a university a university. I wish he would've been able to find a space to continue somewhere else if he was treated wrong here. RIP

I always take the fliers they hand out, I don't see why not to. That's not these guys though.
I have had one of these "wanna join our thing" guys walk up to before once. I always kind of joked about it, but I can see how some people might get sucked up into that thing. Maybe I should go free them?

Quote :
"Restored Church Raleigh is still active on campus, and it has a goal of reaching 50 new people a day, a leader said at a recent devotional. Eight N.C. State students are members of the church, Hughes, the lead evangelist, said in a text message. There are 16 to 20 leaders, according to Wilkins."

Sounds like students are staying away from the cult.
