Wow, so they were trying to spam links on the website but the only place they could was on user profiles that they couldn't even log into. Were the websites like legit or for hacking? Like could you actually purchase the pharmacueticals? I wonder what their ultimate goal was. Did literally none of them ever pay? Or if they did you wouldn't know?

nearly all requests over the years have been reasonable so I usually comply without much fuss. i've had a few relatively aggressive "take this down or else" but it's been a long time. there's been a few that i said no to but those were also quite a long time ago.
