I fell asleep in World History class and stuff, so I'm turning to you for answers. jkwas the beginning of the Industrial Revolution the major factor?who stumbled on the most important thing that really started all of it? I guess it was multiple things, and probably not just oneinstead of doing my own research, I turn to thee, oh brave wolfwebbers or somethingis anyone a believer that ancient civilizations came to be advanced, and were then wiped out by a meteor or some climate disaster? or perhaps wiping each other out in world warfare is religious suppression of science the main factor? or a major factor (or minor) it just seems to me like all of this miraculous stuff is happening (obviously at an accelerated rate) in a short amount of time - and begs the question, why didn't it happen earlier?population was less, I guess overall. and I suppose medicine still wasn't advanced enough up until the mid to late 1800s (is that right lolz) so I suppose eradication of disease brought about more people bc of population increase, and thus more likelihood to develop landmark, groundbreaking technologyand I suppose the invention of the train and all that good stuff made it easier for people to connect, and cultures to be less geographically constrained, that they could share their ideasit just seems like it would have developed earlier if something had been different. anyone have a time machine?

I wouldn't discount it as a possibility, but I suppose there probably aren't any believers on TWW, so I'll give you a C+ for your participation

People tend VERY strongly to being dumb, cynical and lazyBut life is busy and stressful so it’s understandable It takes a big overlap of enough people in a place, and being able to sit idly and ponder , for advances

Several years ago a friend suggested an author who like strictly wrote alternate fiction. I think one book was like someone went back to the civil war with an ak47 amd was like emporer of the world
