How common of a thing is this? And how do you know you are at a place that can do it and not fuck your shit up?

A lot of vehicles with DI will eventually need walnut blasting. Even more so if they're driven like a bitch (lol), i.e. never driven hard. The second part of your question, I don't know.

What is not a bitch with 3k miles per year driven? Like purposely be a douche passing people to get to a better lane etc

letting the car actually see the full rev range regularly

^^^does that mean get it to the red part of tachometer? It goes to 8000, gets red at 6500. I feel like i hardly ever even get to 6500

Maybe spend 2 minutes reading your owners manual (or use Google) to determine what your engine's redline is?ABCs of vehicle ownership.

Isn’t when tachometer turns red the red line? Pretty sure in 3rd gear i would hit red line at 88mph
2/7/2024 2:20:17 AM
you can hit it in every gear

God first gear red line would be weird[Edited on February 7, 2024 at 9:42 PM. Reason : 6th gear would be pretty cool though]
2/7/2024 9:41:41 PM
Haha, yes it would! Though most cars cannot hit redline in top gear.
