Anyone got plans? Last time was the bomb. The path of totality is going right over DFW.
7/28/2023 8:39:58 PM

7/29/2023 12:50:39 PM
Last time it was super cloudy and i didn't see shit
7/29/2023 3:30:08 PM
the one that they were selling the special glasses to wear so you could stare directly at it, that eclipse sucked, and I had a good view of it lolwas not anywhere near the hype
7/29/2023 3:32:58 PM
If you didn't travel to an area that experienced totality, then yeah.
7/29/2023 4:00:47 PM
I still got one pair from last one. Got a 5 pack for $5 shipped[Edited on July 29, 2023 at 7:54 PM. Reason : Pic]
7/29/2023 7:48:04 PM
Last one was awesome, got to see ToTaLiTy while floating in Lake Hartwell
7/30/2023 12:23:29 PM
btttcoming up in about two weeks2017 eclipse was incredible, and I only got to see about 30 seconds of totality. This time, assuming weather cooperates, I'll get to see ~4 mins of totality. Wild that this is normally a once in a lifetime occurrence but we have the opportunity to see two. Even wilder when you consider the absolute astronomical odds of things that have to fall into place for there to even be an eclipse like this visible from the surface of the only known planet with intelligent life. We are living in a simulation!
3/26/2024 4:47:22 PM
If this is a simulation why am i not fuckin your mom right now?
3/26/2024 5:40:37 PM
^Because the being running the simulation has no interest in that.
3/26/2024 5:55:08 PM
What a dumb being. No interest in fuckin yer mom but a big interest in keeping tww running ]
3/26/2024 6:14:22 PM
Took day off work. Thought about trying to moneyize this on like airbnb. Like rent apt for the day or something
3/26/2024 7:43:03 PM
Those cheap glasses are worthless...you get a much better view with your naked eyes
3/26/2024 9:25:47 PM

3/27/2024 11:32:22 AM
in raleigh tonight theres 11 hrs 36 mins of totality! omg![Edited on March 27, 2024 at 6:52 PM. Reason : sucks its raining and i cant see it]
3/27/2024 6:50:28 PM
^
3/27/2024 10:09:16 PM
"Eclipse totality is the exact same as night time" says the person who has clearly never experienced an eclipse. Why go swimming on a hot summer day when you can just take a bath? Its the same thing!
3/28/2024 10:03:13 AM
I'm planning to head to Bloomington, IN just south of Indianapolis. Hoping the weather holds up! [Edited on March 28, 2024 at 11:53 PM. Reason : .]

3/30/2024 7:30:55 PM
I would have thought Texas had the better chance of clear skies, all else the same.
3/30/2024 7:50:08 PM
the last one was pointlessis this one supposed to somehow be better
3/30/2024 8:25:16 PM
3/30/2024 8:48:17 PM
Remember...for the very best view, use your naked eye plus a high-powered telescope
4/2/2024 9:23:57 PM

Clouds came back. Sun barely poking out few seconds at a time. Put glasses on, looks like pacman
4/8/2024 1:49:48 PM
4/8/2024 1:53:32 PM
Imagine a news reporter bothering you through the entirety of totality
4/8/2024 2:45:04 PM
That was awesome, there were some high level clouds, but they didn't block the view at all.I didn't take any pictures, plenty of professional photographers will have some online, I just enjoyed the moment 21 years till the next one!
4/8/2024 3:25:08 PM
I saw it from Cuyahoga Valley National Park outside Richfield, Ohio. About 3 minutes and 15 seconds of totality at this location, but no traffic issues and not very crowded. Clouds were scaring me in the morning with some low-level clouds blocking everything, but they cleared out and only had some spotty high-level clouds and contrails which didn't interfere with the view at all including the corona during totality. With the glasses on, you could not tell there were any clouds in front of the sun.So excited for another longer totality tonight!
4/8/2024 7:37:30 PM
Oh, hi o
4/8/2024 7:44:35 PM
Feel like traffic was overstated. Walmart at noon and sams at 11:30 were not busy at all, roads were fine
4/8/2024 9:27:33 PM
Got lucky in Waco, cloudy all morning and storms mid-afternoon, but was clear as fuck for the right 3 hours.
4/8/2024 9:35:21 PM
