Crappy song to use, forrest gump doing exercise with big chains, and elizabeth berkley at the end?
4/19/2022 12:15:44 AM
Was quite underwhelmed by the trailer.

The obvious song choice \m/White Whale - Holy Grail!

Why meh? Thor always brings a smile to the face.Well the newer Thors.
5/25/2022 9:26:24 AM
I have reached a point of marvel oversaturation.
5/27/2022 4:20:38 PM
i reached that point years ago
5/27/2022 6:34:16 PM
I definitely saw the 2nd avengers movie. Is that the age of ultron one?
5/27/2022 7:25:38 PM
To be honest, i like the Thor movies, they are funny. But I'm not gonna get excited about fucking trailers or the goddamn marvel cinematic universe. All the iron man/captain america/avengers movies are the exact same film. I do not care in the least bit about the stories because they are not good.
5/27/2022 10:39:35 PM
I wonder if I hadn't read all those articles about marvel cgi folks given no time or budget, would I have noticed how cheap this movie looked
9/10/2022 11:36:12 PM
I watched on Friday. Didn’t love it, but I had fun with it. Liked it a lot more than the newest Dr Strange
9/11/2022 8:11:35 AM
I went in expecting bad, and was pleasantly surprised. My biggest issue was the tone didn't match the storyline. Jane Foster with stage 4 cancer, one of the best but bleakest villains yet (for Thor at least) and the movie was all jokes.
9/11/2022 10:08:52 AM
Seems like Marvel movies can't decide what they want to be. They try to be everything, and maybe that's the best for broad financial success, but I'd rather see a gritty and almost depressing comic book storyline than a slapstick comedy. If I want a comedy, I'll watch a comedy.
9/11/2022 11:43:00 AM
Marvel definitely needs to ease up on the jokes sometimes
9/11/2022 5:39:43 PM
it was fun, i enjoyed it. I guess I like Corny, tongue-in-cheek, Thor.
9/12/2022 10:46:51 AM
about 30min in my wife thought the movie was a parody - it was pretty good but definitely more light-hearted
9/12/2022 11:02:38 AM
well its told from Korgs POV so.. I think that's why they do weird backflips and stuff when they jump
9/12/2022 12:33:18 PM
^^i really think it was purposely written as such.
9/12/2022 1:21:50 PM
It was enjoyable, but in the end it's just another passable MCU movie that I'll likely never watch again. Iron Man I Avengers I Guardians ISpiderman 1,2,3Thor RagnarokAvengers Endgameare really the only MCU I have wanted to rewatch.
9/12/2022 3:28:01 PM
With Thor Love and Thunder, Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Eternals I think I've oficially aged out of their target market. Dr. Strange and Eternals in particular were hard to finish watching.
9/12/2022 4:09:25 PM
I guess I was already aged-out when they first started mass-producing these things... I've seen several beginning-to-end, including a few in the theater, and I'll occasionally try one for a few minutes while flipping through channels, and i find them completely silly and boring.
9/12/2022 4:51:08 PM
They've become so formulaic. The formula worked for a long time, but we're tired.
9/12/2022 4:58:23 PM
At 2.5 hrs, Eternals needed way better reviews and way more tie in to the overall story (maybe it becomes important I don't know) to get me. 2.5 hours is at least 0.5 too long for a movie i barely want to see.
9/12/2022 6:17:19 PM
^It looks like even the MCU has left Eternals behind - I mean I'm sure there will be a larger tie-in, but there has only been what, one tiny reference to the celestial in the Indian Ocean? And that was in a magazine in a show that you had to screenshot or you'd miss it?

I’ve rewatched Winter Soldier and Civil War an unhealthy amount of times, and I still love them. By far my favorite two marvel movies.
9/13/2022 11:01:02 AM
I'll rewatch the original Iron Man at least once a year.
