I'm a little puzzled on this one. Want to get a few opinions to determine if it is a fix I can do or if I need to take it to a repair shop.2013 Chevy Equinox 2.4L140k+ milesSometimes when I am driving between 25 and 45 mph, I get a bad vibration in the car. I can feel it in the seat and the steering wheel. It doesn't happen all the time though. It will happen when the weather is warmer (about 60 degrees or so). My thoughts are it is a bad cv axle. There is some play where the axle goes in the tranny on the driver side....much more than what I can get on the passenger side. I just don't know if that is to be expected. I also thought that if the cv axle is bad that it should cause issues no matter the temperature. When I turn the wheel hard I do hear a clicking sound for a few seconds but there isn't any significant play in the wheels. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure if its the issue causing the vibration, but if you hear a clicking when making sharp turns then your CV joint is most likely shot and should be replaced either way.
