I mostly see reports of people checking for unlocked car doors and rummaging through them, package theft, yard equipment theft. One of my neighbors' homes was broken into about a month ago. There was a shooting nearby about a week ago, but that kind of crime is fairly rare.

We had a trend of catalytic converters being cut out of parked cars, especially Priuses. Lawn equipment and bikes being stolen are easily the most common and routine though.

People have been stealing catalytic converters. There have also been reports of people robbing postal workers / stealing their keys and taking mail from the blue mail drop boxes. Teenagers have been car jacking people.

A group of kids tried to steal my reflector from my driveway. I just happened to see them, and yelled at them a half a block away to to please return.
