I reserved one yesterday. We'll see how it goes.
5/21/2021 3:36:45 PM
Looks like it should sell like crazy. Fleet customers going to stocking up
5/23/2021 9:51:52 PM
Looks like it'll fit the needs of at least 90% of current truck buyers (that is, people that treat trucks like their cars)
5/24/2021 8:27:10 AM
^What do you think it looks like to the other 10%?

^liberal hippie b.s.

That stupid fucking light bar above the grille Also this is extremely disappointing. Definitely catering to the people who don't actually need trucks crowd.
5/26/2021 12:08:33 PM
^ I noticed that too. Probably a little design caveat to keep the range at a certain minimum that they were hoping to achieve.
5/26/2021 12:34:17 PM
^^It's for the city slickers. Some of them need trucks to do things like move mulch, gravel, soil, lumber for DIY, haul trash, groceries, furniture, beach stuff, tailgate stuff, etc. and 5.5 foot beds are adequate for those use cases. Is the disappointing part the cab or the bed?
5/26/2021 1:55:40 PM
ITT I learned a truck aint a truck if it dont have truck nuts, a super fucking loud diesel exhaust and is carolina stanced.
5/26/2021 3:34:06 PM
^^ 5.5 foot bed. It's honestly too small to do most of those things you listed adequately. That said, this will dominate the electric truck market and hopefully Ford will quickly come out with an actual electric truck worthy of commercial/fleet use.The price points are surprisingly low compared to gas models and they didn't make it look dumb as hell like Tesla or GM (other than that stupid light bar)]

Will measure coworkers 2002 f150 bed tomorrow. Anything shorter than that is no deal

multi-purpose bed > single purpose trailer for some folks
5/27/2021 10:25:04 AM
Yeah I know.Still don't get the point of lugging around something 100% of the time, that you only use 5%.
5/28/2021 8:44:12 AM
Might be in minority but if i got a truck i’d wanted a truck thats got like dents and bad paint and shit. If i got a new one, i’d never want to use it for rugged type shit where i worried about scratches etc
5/28/2021 10:05:46 PM
I started with a true beater (400K miles on a Z71) and appreciated it for what it did. Then I got a kinda newer (used) truck and use it with the "every ding is a badge of honor" thing, so I don't worry too much about it being pretty. That's my plan with this one. Folks will beat up 80K+ trucks, so I guess to each their own. It'll be my daily driver and I'm going true base model here, no bells and whistles since it's a step up from what I got.
