Yep, too much sugar, most of them are just tomato-flavored high fructose corn syrup. I only occasionaly use it on fries, and I give my SO shit for putting it on hotdogs and hamburgers. I do like homemade ketchup if it doesn't have a lot of added sugar/syrup.
