I heard that Ken Jennings is a contender for the new host. That would be kind of cool. Would obviously be a shadow of Alex, but they have to start somewhere.

Too vanilla. But prob would be good at saying no when people missed easy questions and making them feel shame.

If it's going to be a former contestant I think Buzzy Cohen is more likely. He's been doing a lot of press about Trebek's passing - much more so than more recent big-name champions. And when Trebek was alive, he often joked (or half-joked) about wanting the job. He's also a little more charismatic and energetic than Jennings typically comes across.
