^^Yeah, he's come out as being fairly racist and sexist. His brothers haven't addressed it directly only said diplomatic things. Then after seeing an interview from before the 2016 election it was obvious that they all feel that way. Broke my heart finding this out, but to be honest, I was kinda on my way out the door anyway.

They have just become more and more pretentious and have a big over-inflated ego. They act like they are as big as Beyonce but can't even sell-out shows at the Lincoln Theatre. They won't cater to their fans, instead, they want their fans to cater to them.

They make people pay $40/year for a fan club with the only benefits being a 5 song EP and the chance to win a meet and greet if you go to one of their shows. They don't want a lot of fans, they just want fans that will pay them more and more money.

This part is kinda petty on my part, but this recently got to me....so y'all know how Bojangles did this big social media thing using me as their excuse for bringing back pimento cheese? They sent me money and a bunch of pimento cheese t-shirts. They were just all-around super nice and friendly and were really just thanking me. That is because every time Bojangles made a post on FB I would respond to that post saying something about pimento cheese and how I want it back.

Well, 4 years ago when I had just gotten engaged, I started tweeting at Hanson at least every two days, for almost 2 years inviting them to my wedding. Now, I of course did not think they would actually come, but I for sure thought that after 2 years of tweeting them almost daily they would respond in some fashion. I even sent an invitation to them with the self-addressed stamped envelope. Literally all they had to do was sign it and pop it in the mail. My husband got Tony Kornheiser to sign an invitation.

But I got nothing. After the Bojangles thing, I got to thinking, here is a major corporation that has many times more followers on social media than Hanson does and they were able to take notice of me. However, this band, whose followers are becoming fewer and farther between can't take the time to just hit the like button?

Yes, it's petty, but combined with how they want their fans to spend ridiculous amounts of money on them for pretty much nothing in return, it was enough for me. Then Zac had to come out to be a misogynist and racist.

I would make a big show of destroying their CDs that I have, but they already have my money from those, so what is the point? However, I will do my part and not stream any of their music anymore. There are several fans who are starting to drop off. Unfortunately, there will always be Hanson fans that are batshit crazy and still resort to being a 12 year old when it comes to them.

The more I've read about it the more it makes sense. They all married people that had no ambitions of their own so that they wouldnt be competition and they would just have babies.
One of the siblings, because they had like a Duggars size family, broke away from the family and is doing his own this and has been shunned by the rest of them.

There are reports from older fans saying they've seen the whole family together and they are very cult like.

Obviously I wasnt a very good fan to begin with because I didnt know all this stuff!
