Does anyone else play this fine sport? I played a ton in high school and college, but fell out of it after friends moved after graduation. Moved close to a course and have been getting back into it and having a great time

I play a ton. Which course did you move near? There's a very active DG scene in Raleigh and the surrounding area. Tons of courses around. Check out CADL and Bull City Disc Club on facebook if you're local.

I play a lot and I don't even smoke weed while doing it Worked up to some pretty solid distance over the course of a couple of years. I think my best throw on udisc is 380 ft in a field, but that was definitely an ideal condition and not the norm.[Edited on October 24, 2019 at 4:55 PM. Reason : ]

That's very impressive distance.

^Most people throw too heavy of a disc. Step down to the low 160g range and you'll be much better off.

I usually stay in the 163-167 range. I keep a few heavier ones in my bag for headwind conditions. Do y'all like the Champion Blizard discs? The air pockets in them allow wider wing molds to achieve weights in the high 130s to low 140s.

I dont throw them, simply because they're a bit too understable to get a FULL flight on most of our NC courses. Also, I only throw MVP/Axiom. BUT - I've owned some blizzard drivers and liked them. Had a blizzard Destroyer than flew stupid far. But hardly ever found a hole with enough open width down the fairway to let it get a full flex.
