^^ yeah, you end up seeing all sorts of odd stuff that people post to the Ring neighborhood/community. My street is pretty quiet, as is my neighborhood.
It's nice to have the peace of mind when you're gone at work all day, are out of town, or perhaps are expecting a package to be left on your doorstep.
The two biggest misuses of the system I can forsee are:
1) people not respecting others' privacy, i.e., inadvertently filming others houses and cars.
2) people using the Ring community to profile people just minding their business. You already see this with that Nextdoor website. "OMG I SAW TWO SKETCHY COLORED PEOPLE WALKING DOWN THE STREET"

i dont have any ring cameras but the ring alarm is pretty nice. it did scare the crap out of me last week tho, a spider crawled into the smoke alarm and set off my alarm. i was walking around the house at 1:50am in my boxer briefs with a pump shotgun over a damn spider
