I'll admit to not listening so I can't judge entertainment, but that last note is his main problem: through some both sides, marketplace of ideas bullshit instinct (I think) he gives total scumbags a platform.

I've heard he also sells Alex Jones-ish snake oil products, although I can't vouch for that.

^^ i listen somewhat regularly and i'm not even sure what the sponsors are, he puts them at the beginning and end so you can easily skip them. you can start at about 5 mins then hit 30sec skip button until you hear: Train by day, Joe Rogan podcast by night! All day!
