If you have a dutch oven start out with a no-knead artisan bread. Basically un-fuck-up-able, and versatile enough to where you can add spices, herbs, etc to your taste.Here's a recipe, though there are tons of them out on the web.https://www.jocooks.com/recipes/no-knead-bread/Also, I'm aware this was likely a parroty thread, and I don't care. +1 for the no-knead bread. it's outstanding and I actually enjoy it more than Boulted Bread's ciabatta.

my wife makes all of the bread at our house. she has a pretty sweet heirloom sourdough starter from the Oregon Trail.
