Google is killing off, for me, what is not only their best email interface, but my favorite ever. It's the first time I've enjoyed doing the inbox zero thing, and their notification system to handle emails later is just superior in every way to Gmail.I currently use a browser and mobile client heavily. Outlook/Thunderbird on desktop isn't bad, but the OWA or Outlook Online client is just miserable (from chomebook, etc) - despite having an Office 365 subscription, I still enjoy ads and Skype spam thanks to licensing bugs with corporate vs private. Not to mention the Outlook mobile client is... appallingly bad. Not just bad, drains my pixel at a noticeably higher rate. ... so where do we go now? Anyone have decent alternatives?

You can just add your outlook/exchange account to the gmail app

^I have that now... it's the shiniest of the turds. The biggest loss is the snooze options. Why doesn't gmail support notifying me again when I'm back at the office or a few hours later. Archiving is not a comparable alternative.

I just mark emails as unread if I need to get back to them later
