So many missed opportunities in that game

1st Inning only scoring 1 run hurt

Snit pulled Kuechel too soon.

Acuna not hustling was a mistake but didn't cost team game, at that point team was up 3-1

Snit should have kept Fried in for 8th with his stuff and the heart of their lineup due that inning would have been smart play

Martin injury hurt but bringing in Luke Jackson was not the right call, and not having Newk up as soon as he came in was a blunder as well.

Pinch hitting McCann wasn't smart either.

Overall Acuna is a showboater, he is the new Manny Ramirez, Braves basically said they were fine with it when they gave him that big contract, it is what is and he is not going to change.

Snitker is a players manager, but he relies too much on the Saber guys and manages from a piece of paper instead of trusting his gut.

A Litany of things went wrong in this series.

5 for 39 in the series with RISP and had 37 LOB

The 3, 4, 5 hitters were awful.

Chris Martin's Oblique injury in Game 1 messed up the bullpen that had steadied in September.

A couple of things from yesterday that bothered me. First when Folty walked Fowler to lead game off I knew he was done and didn't have the control he had Friday.

The Braves caving to a relief pitcher by saying they aren't going to play the Tomahawk Chop much during the game is bad JuJu even though there wasn't much to Chop about yesterday. If this is the case they might as well change team name and rename the Chop House. Hell the Twitter hashtag this season was #ChopOn.

When Snitker didn't retaliate after Acuna was plunked when he had the opportunity to do so, this probably ruined the relationship between Acuna/Albies and Snitker.

I know it won't happen but for that reason and his other choices I think the Braves need to part ways with Snitker and promote Ron Washington to Manager.

Was nice to see Freddie get out of his slump. The replay/no replay decision on the foul ball that was called an out started giving me flashbacks of the infield fly rule and the play at the plate earlier in the year where Alec Bohm still hasn't touched home plate.

Fun Fact this will be the first NLCS series in Atlanta since 2001

San Francisco and LA are both going to be tough matchups. Though we had a better record against San Fran in regular season.

Always remember the Braves got Eddie Rosario for Pablo Sandoval. Quite important to be up 2-0, because Braves have lost 11 of the last 13 in LA, including a sweep in September. This insures that at worst series has to come back to Atlanta. But I would be fine with us closing it out there.

The Rosario baserunning error came back to bite us in the end.

The old Luke Jackson showed up and he said in postgame he would throw same pitch again which is ludicrous. Bellenger is a fastball hitter and while the pitch was up you basically threw 2 pitches at same velocity in same area. You have to change a batters eye level.

Brian Anderson and Ron Darling suck as a rule, but I think Jeff Francoeur thinks he is going to get a national gig by trying to be neutral when he is literally the Braves Bally Sports analyst most of the season. He needs to balance out the Anderson/Darling Dodger suck off fest by being a little more pro Braves because that shit is getting annoying. I mean on Bellengers tying homerun Darling audibly said YES!.

Braves will lose tonight since its a bullpen game, they may win Game 5 with Max Fried, but I really have no faith in Ian Anderson (assuming Snit doesn't pitch Charlie on short rest) and anything can happen in a Game 7. The one positive is there bullpen outside of Graderal and Treinen has been taxed.

I am glad I was wrong. Lord knows Smyly was worth the 11 Million for that game alone.

However, we need to close this out in Game 5. Game 6 will be Ian Anderson vs a rested Max Scherzer, and Game 7 will be a rested Walker Buehler vs Charlie Morton. While Game 7 is a toss up pitching matchup if you get to Game 7 you have given Dodgers the momentum and the Atlanta Curse doom and gloom will come to the forefront. Couple that with the Fact that Game 5 is a bull pen game for the Dodgers and we are putting Max Fried on hill who is by far been our best pitcher this season.

My Concerns AJ Minter probably will not be available tonight since he pitched 2 innings. I am not sure on Matzek he has pitched a lot but still looks pretty dominant, though would like for this to be like 2004 ALCS Game 7 where we put the Dodgers away early and give our big bullpen arms a night off.

Jacob Webb - Meatball pitcher good to use in blowouts
Spencer Strider - Meteoric Rise started in A Ball this season, but only featured twice
Richard Rodriguez - Was just ok since Braves acquired him
Kyle Muller - Lefty starter hasn't been in minors since August
Touki Toussaint - Is versatile as either a long reliever or starter but has been in minors since August and has control issues.
Sean Newcomb - has postseason experience with Braves (Not good experience) He walks a ton of batters.

Personally I think Rodriguez or Strider would be good. There will be at least 2 Bullpen games now as I fully expect this series to go 6 or 7 games. Going to need another magic start from Kyle Wright or Drew Smyly that we don't see coming. Game 2 is almost definitely a game where you have to let Fried go 6 or 7 to save the Pen, Minter is most definitely not available tonight so there is one big piece missing.

Started off well but ultimately pitching and errors did us in. Hope Fried has a good performance Tuesday. I thought he pitched well last outing. The shift cost us four runs in that game.
