If your threshold is “I don’t want the news to say stuff that’s hard to explain to my kids” then you should definitely just never watch the news. How do you explain murder, war, mass shootings, non-gang-rape rape, or anything else to your kid? It’s your responsibility to explain that to your kids...not mine and not the responsibility of news stations. Nah, that’s your thing...explain it or don’t explain it. Or turn the channel.
