Not saying it isn’t a decent flick, but first GotG is probably the most overrated marvel movie. I actually like the first half or so of #2, then it went to shit

In his defense, the house of mouse should have done their research if they were worried about getting a director that was squeaky clean.

Everybody is coming out of the woodwork supporting Gunn. I'm glad.

I now hope that GoG 3 is a steaming pile, and that when Disney comes crawling back to Gunn, he gives them the finger.

he already wrote vol 3, Disney owns the script. And it seems the ultimatums being given are "We wish you to release us from our contracts if you don't use Gunn's script" which, why wouldn't they? The script was certainly a collaborative effort, Gunn didn't write it by himself, so they probably wouldn't even need to put his name in the credits if they don't want to.

All told, I believe Disney is not going to cave, everyone is going to show up for work as their contracts require, they're going to use some semblance of Gunn's script, changed just enough, I do think Gunn will still appear in the credits in a merely demoted fashion.

It seems Disney has agreed to use Gunn's script? I mean, is it really the case that they fired him just to keep putting his name on everything?
