Anyone ever get this

yep. left arm. sucked. did the tunnel release surgery. took about 1 - 1.5 years for the symptoms to resolve about 90%; no additional improvement since (a few years now). I can certainly tell I have slightly diminished feeling in my last 2.5 fingers / palm. Also, I still have an issue when typing where my I think my pinky is holding down the ctrl / windows key but it's really not. I guess it's something to do with the angle of the pinky for these keys (kind of tucked into your hand to reach those keys) because it doesn't happen on others.what you got?

Nothing official yet, but my elbow has been 'sore' with no real pain just discomfort for the past week or so, plus my pinky and 1/2 my ring finger have been numb/tingling for the same amount of time

sounds like it could be CTS. Follow the general tips to alleviate (keeping arm straight / towel wrap), anti-inflammatory meds, etc. CTS can be acute or chronic. Mine lasted a few months when I finally went to see an ortho surgeon and ended up having surgery about a month later.Though I never had elbow pain / discomfort. Just dumb / tingling fingers and palm below those fingers. If you go to a Dr and get a nerve conduction study, keep in mind that the study isn't necessarily conclusive of negative results. An NCS generally detects more severe issues / damage, and more so for permanent damage than irritation / inflammation issues (which CTS starts out as, but can lead to permanent damage)^^whoops... 1.5 fingers not 2.5.[Edited on February 26, 2018 at 8:28 AM. What was the recovery like on the surgery

is this the same as tennis elbow?

no, tennis elbow is tendonitis (inflammation of tendon); CTS is irritation / constriction of the ulnar nerve in the elbow

I had the pinky and ring finger numbness, but I did PT/OT for a month or so and it went away.

I have this or something like it. Not sure but over the last year or so I have noticed that I have pain/weakness from my right elbow. Just got a big telephoto lens and my elbow hurts after using it or even just picking it up. Also both of my elbows pop a lot now when I straighten my arms out. Not sure if I have like early onset arthritis or some shit, or maybe tennis elbow or CTS. Getting old kinda sucks.

^sounds like tendonitis

^^my tennis elbow constricts the ulnar nerve too and i get these symptoms, but since they are related to the tennis elbow they go away when it does. sounds like that's a different thing(and i hadn't thought about it until this thread but i haven't had an issue in probably 10 years at this point despite having frequent issues before then. i guess you can grow out of it?)

if you had CTS symptoms and tennis elbow symptoms, I would think you had both. With your palm facing up, tennis elbow occurs on the outside (left), CTS occurs on the inside (right) and not related in any way that I know of. CTS has to do with the nerve in the tunnel surrounded by cartilage; not sure how the tendon can impact this. though I'm not a medical professional.CTS can be acute and clear up on it's own.

then i'm wondering if i had this and it was never tennis elbow i had to wear this pad thing on my elbow during the day and had a arm sleeve thing that i had to wear at night, mine would luckily go away after a few days
