Keatts was able to force Virginia to play his game with UNCW last year, and that's a way less talented roster.

With Markel back, if we play defense the way we played against Clemson at home, if we push the tempo, I think we keep it close.

I don't care what anyone say about Beverely, he's an excelent college point guard and is an assest to this team. Despite his physical shortcommings (no pun intended) he play's solid basketball and plays beyond his years.

Al Freeman needs to be second string in a bad way. At one point in the first half, he took three straight contested shots 1v1 without passing. Their lead went from single to double digits in the span of 30s. I wouldn't care if the guy was taking open shots and missing... slumps happen. But when he goes ISO ball, it may as well be a turnover. If he shows up and decides to be a facilitator, our offense tends to run much more smoothly. If he wants to score, he will single-handedly shoot us out of the game

Of course it doesn't help that we had double the fouls they did despite Virginia playing the tightest aggressive man defense in the country. This may be blasphemous, but I'm glad Bennett isn't our coach. His brand of basketball is so damn ugly, I barely like watching our team play them. I can't imagine having to watch them twice a week.

It would have helped a lot if we hadn't started 0 for 11 from 3. Last I heard we were 1 of 15. Make 3 or 4 out of the first 11 and we are leading, or trailing in a close game.

i always wonder why the nba all star game exists but then i see people like this who prolly think its fun to watch guys let other guys dunk.
