Saw it... it doesn't know what kind of movie it wants to be.

Would not recommend. Maybe worth watching while you fall asleep once it hits netflix about 2 days after it clears theaters.

My problem with this movie was that it totally switched gears on the audience after the first hour or so. It did a great job setting up this universe where we've created the ability to get small and use less resources.

Then it totally abandoned the whole small vs big conflict that would have been much more entertaining, or the whole hyper-consumerism issue, which is where I thought they were going to go.

No, they switch to some bizarre end-times scenario that isn't even going to happen to the characters soon. So much potential wasted.

yeah i felt that same way too. Felt like a bait and switch from the previews and trailers.
