definitely get a mouse with the side buttons. heard zowie mice are good, but dont know anything about them.

I'm not an expert but this is what I have. It's very comfortable and responsive. Batteries last ridiculously long. I game most nights and have only changed the batteries maybe once every six months. I like that you can adjust the DPI right on the mouse if you're playing a sniper class or something and need lower sensitivity. The little tray thing for your thumb on the left side of it is great.
