11/22/2017 12:30:36 PM
gross, fuck your disgusting ass cream of mushroom monstrosity
11/22/2017 12:37:13 PM
It's pecan pie. And don't you dare pronounce it like pecan pie. It's pecan pie, mother fucker
11/22/2017 12:37:39 PM
Sweet potato pie.
11/22/2017 12:40:13 PM
pecan pie and green bean casserole are both delicious. sweet potato pie is good, but less delicious imo
11/22/2017 12:45:07 PM
the turkey if it's cooked correctly
11/22/2017 12:54:31 PM
green beans don't need casserole
11/22/2017 12:57:11 PM
If any of it was really good, then you would eat it at other times as well... not just once a year.[Edited on November 22, 2017 at 12:59 PM. Reason : Pumpkin Pie]
11/22/2017 12:58:41 PM
turkey, stuffing, and cranberry stuff are the things i don't recall eating at other times of the year at large family gatherings.
11/22/2017 1:09:05 PM
Green bean casserole (as well as broccoli casserole and potato casserole) are good. But they're also kinda gross.
11/22/2017 1:28:22 PM
BOJANGLES
11/22/2017 1:38:18 PM
i usually fill my plate with casseroles and stuffing and don't even eat turkeyturkey is probably the worst thanksgiving foodalso: pecan pie is the worst pie, pumpkin pie is better
11/22/2017 1:38:56 PM
Green bean casserole is fucking gross. You're all fucking gross.
11/22/2017 1:39:07 PM
11/22/2017 1:42:58 PM
Yeah, regular baked turkey is not very good. It's a little better if it's fried. This year we're just getting a pork shoulder from Smithfields C&B. And already cooked collards from Piggly Wiggly. And OYSTERS for the next day!
11/22/2017 1:48:24 PM
you talking about new years food[Edited on November 22, 2017 at 1:53 PM. Reason : also i'm stealing your pork shoulder idea for next year, fuck the honeybaked ham line]
11/22/2017 1:52:32 PM
Cajun spiced fried turkey. Dark meat.
11/22/2017 1:52:46 PM
You're mom
11/22/2017 1:54:22 PM
Such a shame people don't know how to cook turkey
11/22/2017 2:00:46 PM
11/22/2017 2:03:25 PM
Frying four turkeys and smoking one this Saturday. Injecting with Jalapeno butter.
11/22/2017 2:30:43 PM
^^lol...i was gonna say cranberry sauce, but really there's a few different cranberry dishes we've had at thanksgiving...and only ever at thanksgiving.
11/22/2017 3:00:16 PM
Deep fried fresh turkey
11/22/2017 3:07:17 PM
it's all pretty good to me if the cook is any good. dressing, green bean casserole, pecan pie, sweet potato pie, mashed potatoes and gravy. i wouldn't miss the turkey.
11/22/2017 3:50:10 PM
Turkey Sandwiches and it ain't even close
11/22/2017 3:53:40 PM
^^yeah basically. if you're a good cook (or have good cooks in the family) then all thanksgiving foods can be prepared in a p delicious way. but also everybody likes different stuff so i guess whatever, ya know.[Edited on November 22, 2017 at 3:55 PM. Reason : arrow]
11/22/2017 3:55:20 PM
We eat green bean casserole probably once a month. We use cream of chicken though because my wife is weird. I'm fine with mushrooms but she isn't. It's probably my favorite part along with a deep fried turkey. And we don't make deep fried turkeys very often because... Well, it's deep frying a turkey
11/22/2017 4:07:25 PM
I haven't ever tried this, but holy shit I want to. May become a staplehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0t2mMVDVaQ4
11/22/2017 4:12:37 PM
Fuck your "real" cranberry sauce. Give me the good stuff[Edited on November 22, 2017 at 4:19 PM. Reason : 15 years and I still can't get an image post right on the first try]
11/22/2017 4:18:30 PM
Leftover sammich with turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, and gravy...
11/22/2017 4:23:39 PM
^ yea funny how leftovers are usually better than the opening act
11/22/2017 4:26:32 PM
cranberries are so low on the list of tasty fruit
11/22/2017 4:26:54 PM
All the flavors have a chance to soak in.
11/22/2017 4:37:44 PM
I made a pecan pie for friendsgiving this year. It was a hit.Green bean casserole can be good, but there are so customizations that make it bad. Like using frozen green beans or having too much of that crunchy onion shit on the top.
11/22/2017 6:41:22 PM
You gotta use fresh green beans, if this is a family gathering you have the little kids snap them for you
11/22/2017 6:47:47 PM
^^False. Fried onions are great.
11/22/2017 7:48:55 PM
I said too much. It's not bad in limited quantities.
11/22/2017 8:15:09 PM
A perfectly cooked turkey is the best, but let's be honest that's probably about 1 in every 10 times you have turkey that it's perfectly cooked.Gravy and stuffing and sweet potato casserole have my vote (the kind with the brown sugar and nuts on top, not that marshmallow garbage).
11/22/2017 11:24:43 PM
perfect turkey isn't as good as average chicken. it's a pretty shitty meat.
11/22/2017 11:28:06 PM
Bullllllllllshit turkey has a way better flavor.[Edited on November 23, 2017 at 12:10 AM. Reason : Might as well prefer tilapia over salmon at this rate ]
11/23/2017 12:09:28 AM
I have never had good green bean casserole and stuffing, so I can imagine they would be good.As for cranberry sauce, the canned ones are disgusting, but I have a couple of times had some really nice homemade ones which weren't as sweet as candy. The tartness paired really nicely with turkey meat.Best Thanksgiving food I have had is still a sweet potato pie two years ago. Oh, and a sweet potato casserole last year. And also my pumpkin bread.Going to a Murrcan family's home tomorrow, the same one I went to last year. Will take the same pumpkin bread that I took last year that everybody raved about.

I didn't used to love GBC but this is phenomenal, one of the few "lot of work" dishes that is worth the workhttp://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2010/11/homemade-green-bean-casserole-recipe.html
11/24/2017 2:44:59 PM
