Twitter was fine beforehand.

And now b4c can post 280 character collages. Twice the characters, twice the creepiness.

^^^There were times when I would run out of characters by just a few, so I am happy with the change.^My thought too.[Edited on November 7, 2017 at 7:19 PM. Reason : .]
There will still be times when you run out of characters by just a few.
11/7/2017 7:27:16 PM
^True, but at least there will be enough characters now to type 3, or 4 sentences when needed.
11/7/2017 7:54:31 PM
140 characters is more than enough to get your point across
11/7/2017 8:10:30 PM
^Not when you run out of characters by about 10.

Looking forward to three years from now when it's just a normal chat app.

6Yeah, but is is easier to just type 1 message instead of 1/2, 2/2
11/8/2017 9:23:55 AM
but what if you need 290 characters?
11/8/2017 10:00:25 AM
^Then I guess you do the 1/1, 2/2
11/8/2017 12:22:28 PM
no way, we need to increase the characters to 400
11/8/2017 4:53:45 PM
^But then you aren't much different than facebook.
11/8/2017 10:47:53 PM
I still struggle with the concept of Twitter

^Twitter is a great place to follow the news and argue with people. It's different than facebook. Facebook is more family oriented. People generally follow their closest friends, family, and people they have actually met in person. They also use it to share photos with them. No one goes on twitter and posts hundreds of personal photos of their children and silly memes. That allows for more news related info to pop up on the screen. You can also set pages to take priority, so every post made by that page appears at the top of your twitter feed. Some famous people use twitter to have a place to communicate with their fans, but lock their facebook and only allow their real friends and family on there.
