This guy is an idiot, but it doesn't make sense to boot someone in a handicap parking spot... because people actually need those spots.

The comments are fun. It's like two racists and the rest of the world who despise tow people.

I don't know why the car owner got booted--he appears to have a handicap placard and says as much--but, regardless, I admire him for keeping his cool. I dunno...he could be a local ne'er-do-well, but tow people are the fucking worst.


I forgot to put my pass up and was towed on the first night in my new spot. Called the place to find out where they were, and they cut me off to gleefully repeat that it was going to be $400 to get my car back because I guess I wasn't flustered enough the first time they told me. Also, they towed the car two towns away, and they were closing early. So I had about thirty minutes to get over there in order to avoid another $100 nightly storage fee.

I don't remember how much I actually paid. I went in the trailer alone and let some guy stand too close to me while he breathed really hard. He cut me a "deal." The worst. The fucking worst.

I was secretly hoping for the boot to fall off, that should be an illegal means of recouping a fine.

I just hoped he stopped on a nearby parking lot to drop it off and not let it fly off on the highway.
