I guess you could reduce it to a 7 or 8 second run off. Otherwise, throw it in the endzone and don't put yourself in that situation in the first place.

And the 11 second picture isn't really anything. Was he definitively down in the picture? Had the refs blown that play dead in the picture?

It's not just if his knee is down, it's if a defender has also made contact with him once he is down, which was pretty difficult to see on Sunday despite all the replays

This is before the above pic, since his upper body is not yet on the ground. He is clearly down in this picture since his knee is down and there is a defender touching him. How far did the ball advance from him falling forward since the previous picture? tough to say
