I am loving him and Markell Johnson. As freshmen, they are contributing well above what I expected. These are the types of guys who build long term success in a program.KFC for life (even if he cant leave the country).
11/30/2016 3:30:47 PM
Count me in the KFC
11/30/2016 3:39:05 PM
reminds me of Josh Davis

I missed the first half but he had good stats and he looked good in the 2nd half. Definitely has the look of a solid ACC level player
11/30/2016 3:44:10 PM
i like him
11/30/2016 3:50:59 PM
Waiting for him to have a bad game (or make a bad play, like when Shaun Kirk caught the ball out of bounds) and the majority of the posts in here hating on him.But I like him too.
11/30/2016 3:54:26 PM
He had a couple bad plays last night (ie the over the back foul trying to get an offensive rebound at the end of the first half, which led to Illinois shooting free throws), but most of them are just because he is being aggressive and not so much dumb plays like the Kirk turnover. You cant fault anyone for being aggressive, especially freshmen playing in their 3rd college game.

This guy is streets ahead of Shaun Kirk. He actually knows how to basketball.

Count Me In. Always nice when a freshman is way better than expected. Small sample size, but ted looks like the real deal. For whatever reason, I was under the impression that he was just a brute.... Sort of a poor man's Ben Wallace (ala bam adebayo). But he has some legit skills and surprisingly good awareness out there. The thing that impresses me the most is his touch and agility around the basket though. That's not really something you can teach. He just knows how to put the ball in the basket[Edited on November 30, 2016 at 9:01 PM. Reason : TED FOR PREZ!!!!!!1]

He reminds me a bit of Damon Thorton actually now that I think about it.
11/30/2016 9:37:50 PM
When will Gott let us see him again? I realize he fouls a lot on D, but so do all the other bigs. He seemed like a good rebounder.

We are so bad I don't get why you don't give him minutes for experience and keeping him from transferring. When he played early in the year he seemed tough on the boards. Don't get why not to play him, what's he going to do have us lose by more?
1/22/2017 9:28:03 AM
Seems like he isn't ready to play against quality ACC teams, despite looking pretty good against a soft OOC schedule.
1/22/2017 12:40:19 PM
He's been pretty raw looking (bad) in the few minutes he's played in conference games. A typical Gottfried big - extremely physically gifted, but can't actually play basketball.
1/22/2017 1:01:33 PM
^^ Anya has looked like that for the past 3 seasons
1/22/2017 2:02:59 PM
He is going to be great at Western Kentucky (or wherever he goes) in two years....
1/22/2017 4:06:41 PM
+1 for getting hype on the dunk
1/23/2017 8:21:04 PM
Earned a starting spot next game
1/23/2017 9:20:56 PM
Kaprina needs at least 1/2 of Abu's jump shots he keeps taking.
1/23/2017 9:22:46 PM
Awesome game minus the Tech. He should start over Yurt next game.
1/23/2017 10:03:22 PM
We loaned out our headquarters for the game, so its basically like a home game for our boy.

he played 22 minutes @UL and sucked just like the rest of the team. he had a great game vs Duke...but let's not get carried away with how great he is.
2/8/2017 5:28:10 PM
Solid game tonight, way to pick up the slack for Abu being in foul trouble, and he is easily the best rebounder we have.
