By the time you purchase a Raspberry Pi and the accessories required to hook it up to your TV and load games from external storage, you will have spent as much or more than the NES Classic costs, and it will have taken up more of your time and energy than playing NES games is ultimately worth.

I bought two of these at Bestbuy opening day. Put one up on ebay that afternoon with buy it now of $395. Somebody bought it two hours later. So Insane somebody would buy at that price- I at first thought maybe I had screwed up and could have gotten like 500-600 since it sold so quick, but it looks like the price has leveled off around the $180 range.

Still Cray though.
