Like 40-50. My candy is gone. I just sit a bucket outside and turn on the porch light.

^Have you watched, or was one of them a jackass and dump your whole bucket of candy into their bag?

The double bubble and banana laffy taffy has been sifted out and is being recycled to the older kids

4. Shits wack. Kids don't fuck with candy like they used to. Also, one was dressed as "a republican". Little dipshit.

Still only 1. A local church near by has a festival every year, so most people around me go to that instead of going door to door.

If I didn't think I'd get sued or hauled off by the cops I'd smack these hands reaching for the bowl. Never seen so much shamelessness on that. Let me give you what youre gonna get

I only bought one bag of candy, but it was 150 pieces supposedly.

18 small children later, and it was gone. Anonymous children in groups of three or more can really grab a lot of candy, but I've never seen anything like tonight.

I guess I shoulda done the whole "only take two" thing, but it was too much fun the other way.

I put a very large empty bowl outside with a "Please only take one" sign on it so the kids would blame the kids that came earlier instead of me.

Nah actually I've only had 3.

ugh. Every year since I've lived in my house I get tons of kids. This year for whatever reason all I got was like 10. Most of them were really little kids that were too scared to even say "Trick or Treat". Only got like two groups of 8-11 year olds. I've got so much left. Good shit too, snickers/milky way/reese's, etc.

At one point I did go outside and look around because I was wondering where the hell everyone was. Only two other houses on my street had their porch lights on (at around 7:30) so I guess the kids looked down the road and thought it wasn't worth it. My neighbors are a bunch of scrooges.

I usually only leave a bowl out if I'm not home but if I did catch kids dumping all of it into their bags, I would take their bags and give it out to the rest of the trick or treaters. Or at least that is what I say I would do. More than likely I'd just passive aggressively call them names from behind my door.

About 9... 5 of them were the neighborhood kids who'd been talking about the huge candy bars we give out at Halloween for the last month.

We had at least 200-250 kids come by. There would have been more, but we stopped handing out candy at 8pm.

Just put out a donald trump sign. Most parents will not let their kids within 100 yards of your house, especially in the dark.

I had two groups before I took my daughter out. I left 4 lbs out in a bowl while we were gone and there were still 3 pieces when we got back. I refilled the bowl and put it back out. I've heard a couple of kids since then but haven't checked to see what was left.

I had about 180 pieces of candy to hand out to kids. They started coming around at 6ish. I was completely out of candy by 7:15.

Went to a Halloween party last night. I was at home for about an hour after sunset and my wife wasn't feeling good so she stayed home. Zero trick or treaters. While on the way to the party, I saw a number of kids in costume riding in the back of pickup trucks. Literally going up to a house, getting candy, climbing back in the truck, then their parent driving them like 20 ft to the next house. Damn, I feel like it takes more effort jumping in and out of the truck then it does to just walk the 20 ft.

At the Halloween party, which was in a considerably more dense neighborhood, I didn't even see any kids out walking around or anything. Got 1 pair of trick or treaters at like 9pm and that was it. Maybe all the kids just go to the same neighborhood or this whole "trunk or treat" thing has ruined it. When I was a kid we walked for miles, then even when I was in high school (1998-2002) I remember kids being all over the damn place trick or treating.

there were groups of kids/families in the central area of my neighborhood. our street is one of the outer streets, so we don't see much action by comparison. had just a few stop by our street (everyone in the cul-de-sac gathers in one place so the kids have a one stop shop), but there was a good showing of kids hoofing it around overall.

0,
But that’s because I worked until about 7, then had a 45 min commute home, plus I stopped at the Chick-Fil-A drive through on the way.
