Time to focus on the real fight, which for perhaps for the first time in our lifetimes seems far less interesting than the primary process.

I just realized: Change one word in this song now and it changes the whole meaning. Maybe could use a slight bit of tweaking, but it don't need much.Someone should record this.Don't know when I've been so blueDon't know what's come over youYou've found someone newAnd don't it make my red eyes blueI'll be fine when you're goneI'll just cry all night long, say it isn't trueAnd don't it make my red eyes blueTell me no secrets, tell me some liesGive me no reasons, give me alibisTell me you love me and don't let me crySay anything but don't say goodbyeI didn't mean to treat you badDidn't know just what I hadBut honey now I doAnd don't it make my brown eyesDon't it make my red eyesDon't it make my red eyes blue

2008 was interesting on the Democratic side and a pretty similar process and timeline to this year, but it didn't have the highly entertaining mess on the Republican side.Plus, Sarah Palin was a part of the General election and not the primaries. Donald Trump was a full year of that.[Edited on June 11, 2016 at 9:55 PM. Reason : -]

I'm voting for Batman
6/11/2016 11:08:11 PM
If the election was tomorrow, I wouldn't be voting. Clinton, Stein, and Johnson all have a chance to win me over, but #nevertrump.
6/22/2016 1:22:12 AM
You sound like one of those "Undecideds" on election day.I'm sure it's fun to imagine that one of the candidates you mentioned will bend around to earn your vote, but the reality is they all have wildly different platforms that aren't gonna bend for you. They are who they are. What exactly are you expecting to happen here?[Edited on June 22, 2016 at 1:48 AM. Reason : Surely you're acquainted with their policy differences right?]
6/22/2016 1:46:09 AM
Yeah there are irreconcilable differences between those 3. I don't see how anyone could be torn between that group.

Fine, vote for Johnson. Vote for whoever. Somebody. Or, if you're not going to vote, don't sit here and pretend you're so vehemently anti-Trump, because evidently you aren't willing to do anything to stop him, even down to checking a box on a form.
6/22/2016 1:01:21 PM
^voting for Johnson is not a vote for trump just as much as voting for hillary is not a vote for trump. the form only allows you to vote for someone, not against anyone if i was a Bernie bro and i voted 3rd party and not hillary that's a vote for trump right? but if i am a Cruz supporter and i vote 3rd party than that's a vote for hillary? poor logic

Will the new TWW have a cool poll function like Twitter so we can start doing TWW straw polls where the Green Party gets more votes than the Republican Party?
6/22/2016 9:19:40 PM
6/22/2016 10:51:54 PM
I've been promoting Johnson amongst my friends as the sane conservative choice. I think he'll end up eating a lot of the republican vote that would normally go to trump.
6/22/2016 11:02:46 PM
Have you seen all these polls about Sanders supporters saying they're going to vote for Trump? It's fucking nuts.http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-06-22/nearly-half-of-sanders-supporters-won-t-support-clintonI figured he'd pull some, but 20% or more?! Fuck. Also, from everything I've seen it looks like Johnson is pulling about 3-4% from Trump, 3-4% from Clinton and then getting some from the "undecided/neither" and the 1% or so of folks who always vote LP.
6/22/2016 11:14:49 PM
CBS and Bloomberg are reporting half of Bernie supporters won't back Hillary. I am a Bernie supporter and will vote for Jill Stein.

sanders isn't a dipshit you failure
6/23/2016 3:09:39 PM
Sanders is pretty smart, he just got too tightly associated with his hippy supporters. When I judge him by the things I see on social media on support of him, he seems like an idiot. If I watch an interview with sanders, other than his hate for free trade,he has an excellent grasp of issues and policy. Sanders' has spent his life trying to minimize poverty which is our biggest domestic issue right now. No one else running has better credibility or perspective on that issue.
6/23/2016 3:58:29 PM
Bernie gets a lot of credit from me for actually running as a major party candidate and trying to gain popular support for his views. Stein, Johnson, the rest of the 3rd party candidates are nothing but a bunch of fucking cowards. If you actually think you've got the right answers for this country, then stop screaming at the clouds and get into the game.

Obama at 56% approval, highest since a poll taken right after Bin Laden got got. Amazing what happens when the GOP fud machine is pointed at someone else. He should be much higher, but this at least means he has strong approval with democrats and left leaning independents. At those approval levels, he'll be a very effective campaign surrogate for Hillary.Oh that same poll showed Hillary leading Trump 51-39, which is pretty amazing considering how low Hillary's favorables are. Trump's are just much much much worse.[Edited on June 26, 2016 at 10:44 AM. Reason : .]

I wanted to see where Stein and Clinton lined up with my views. Interesting result.
7/6/2016 12:30:57 AM
That is interesting. And exactly why those who say they are Sanders supporters but going for Trump aren't really fans of Sanders policy. They just want to watch the world burn.At this point, I'm as anti-Trump as one can be but I really will struggle casting a vote for Clinton. I know I have to solely to have a clear conscience if somehow this thing is close and NC comes into play but damn... such a sad state of affairs.
7/6/2016 8:23:10 AM
That site only works if you believe everything Clinton says.

True, but Clinton is the only one on that list with a history of deception, apart from Trump.
