We've been thinking about getting a big SUV and I noticed there are a few Escamalades that have low miles for their age. Like an '07 with 28k. I'm guessing this was an old person that drove it very little. Would you ignore the age and only look at miles and condition or is the fact that it has been on the earth longer regardless of miles still a deciding factor.

2 things... #1 keep in mind gas hit $5.50 a gallon in charlotte in either 07 or 08 #2 Cars that sit still for a while can still have have dry rot issues from age and if they really sat still for way too long they could have rust on gears they weren't oiled regularly by their rotation. You really need to find out if it was parked for 3 years or only driven on weekends.... it really does make a huge difference.

Yeah, my mom has an 06 Infinity G with 31k on it. She drives regularly, to the grocery store and shopping center 4 miles away. Oil changes every 6-8 months, just because. Maintenance will matter, but I would think of it more as a positive than a negative, personally.

^^I'd say that only an idiot would pick a busy time of day to drive to the grocery store, but in this case we are talking about a woman, so who knows
