Why would you call the thread "dogs in hot cars" then post a picture where the sign says the A/C is on?

Is the car stolen? Or is it, like, a very attractive car? What is the deal?

about 10 years ago now (fuck i'm getting old) I was at the Village Deli in CV and my friend's dog was in my car. A couple frantically ran in asking whose car it was and demanded that I go out there and roll down the window when I said it was mine.

I told them I've been in the line for just a moment, and I'm going to order food and we'll be gone soon. They told me they were going to give me 5 minutes before they did something about it themselves. When I got out there, they were there timing it. That was the first time I've ran into that sort of lunacy.

now that said, i'm a dog owner now and would never leave my dog in a car with even the most remote possibility of getting hot. but if it's not my dog, it's not my problem and people should mind their own damn business.

So if it's a child left in a car in 90+ degree weather for any extended period of time, should people just "mind their business" and look the other way? You know, there's been plenty of cases of pets and children dying in hot cars.

(although I understand some people are irrationally militant about this)

On a mild day, your window should be rolled down and you shouldn't leave your car for that long. On a hot day, AC should be on blast with the windows rolled down a bit.

If you can't do those things, you shouldn't have your dog with you.

Not my kid. Not my car. No fucks given.

Not my job to save the kid from a late term abortion.

Damn NRR, that's a cold way to go through life. So if you had the chance to save someone's life, you'd only do it if it was your kid? What if it was your bitch mom or asshole uncle? Or what if it was your nephew and you were the asshole uncle who needed saving, and he just looked the other way and said "not my dad, no fucks given"? Hopefully your life or well-being never depends on a stranger.

Those two kids in the cart are a stray cat away from a severe case of road rash.

it's always been amusing to me how often NRR likes to remind us about how little he cares

doing nothing to help a kid from dying in a hot car is some pretty evil shit, though
