Aaaaaaand it didn't take long for their FB page to be swamped with comments about God, Trump, and gun control. At least some things are predictable.

"An active shooter has just been reported in building #26 at Naval Medical Center San Diego," Tuesday morning's post reads. "All occupants are advised to run, hide or fight."Be prepared for option 3 stories.

^that's the advice they give teachers during an active shooter situation.First hide then run, and if the shooter comes into the room we are allowed to fight them. In the video they showed a teacher picking up a desk and throwing it at the shooter...I guess we also need to start working on our upper body strength.

Don't you have the first two backwards?First run away if possible, if not possible find a place to hide until escape is possible or you are rescued, and if neither are possible then fight your way out of the situation

i remember in the Air Force active shooter training, they talked about throwing shit at the shooter if they find you. They suggested books, staplers. Basically anything that would distract them for enough time for you to get out or somehow disarm them.
