I hate race based statistics, but lets face it, there are huge trends in voting patterns based on race. Most black voters, particularly in the south, are ultra conservative. The only difference is they feel like they have to vote democrat because the GOP has a reputation of apathy to issues concerning race.

Most black southerners are evangelicals, believe rights come from God, not the government, pro-life, antigay and basically match the trump supporters in a state like iowa.

When you go to a state like South Carolina, black voters aren't supporting Hillary because Bernie somehow doesn't appeal to black issues, they are supporting Hillary because she is moderate.

Its such an anomaly that such a huge amount of ultra conservative people vote democrat.

It's my understanding that the politics of black and white evangelicals differ largely on criminal justice issues. 'Apathy' isn't a word I would use to describe the GOP's views on criminal justice and minorities.

Well most white "conservatives" outside of country clubs and big cities don't give much shit about true conservative policies:

As long as a republican candidate talks about "cutting" taxes
Loving Jesus
Shooting guns
Protecting unborn embryos from MURDER
and promise to save their double-wide from an ISIS attack on the trailer park then they get the vote.

Bernie is the only candidate giving real attention to black issues and yet he isn't receiving their support. I just don't get it.

its becoming increasingly useless to categorize voters by race instead of things that actually affect the way they vote like...i dunno. RELIGION
