This is so terrible when you work with a much older crowd. I'm getting tired of undressing Maude with my eyes

this reminds me of "engineering hot" while in school. you'd see a girl in broughton and she'd look pretty cute, and then see her at pb's and she'd be all ecky

Yeah, Broughton Hall was not a good place to meet women. I'm guessing there were about 2-5 good looking ones. I remember a couple of semesters where I didn't have one girl in any class that I found attractive.See also: Deployment hot (and in carrier aviation, boat hot)Oh, and I work at a shipyard now as an engineer...it's even worse than the USMC in terms of women. There are about 5000 people who work there; I can think of 3 that I would at least sleep with.[Edited on December 16, 2015 at 8:48 PM. Reason : ]

We had something called the paper mill scale at my old job. A female would be like 8 on the paper mill scale, but 5 in real life. The hourly guys pretty much thought every female intern was Gisele.

^^Deployment hot? Man, you don't even go with the fun terms: 2-10-2 and Desert Queen

Psychologists have done studies about how the more often you see people, the more likely you are to find them attractive. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15109158

I don't see any of my coworkers as hot anymore - they're kinda like siblings, or they're all friendzoned, or something like this
