Howdy y'all!I hoping that some of you would be willing to complete a brief survey to help with a term paper i'm writing. It should only take about 5 minutes to complete, and I would appreciate it a ton! Feel free to pass it along, the more responses the better.Thanks!http://goo.gl/forms/Jd1LL0DEJ4

yeah I'd like to see what the results are - what are you doing with the qualitative portion?

As you probably know, qualitative data definitely harder to analyze and present than quantitative data.I'm hoping I should be able to get an overall idea of their knowledge and opinions of each symbol which I can categorize into a couple of broad groups. There's already some interesting data showing by the qualitative questions. I don't want to go into much detail yet in case other people read through this post before completing the survey. Basically there are items that some people responded negatively to, and through the qualitative question I can gather that they have a wrong impression of what the symbol is. The paper is also being written with a specific definition of what heritage is, so that question helps to gauge what percentage of the respondents are in-line with the paper's definition and which may not be.It's also helping me just form the overall direction of the paper, and suggest ideas that I might not have considered.

a word cloud might be a good way to illustrate the qualitative data. good luck - interested in the results!

^that's a great idea, hadn't thought of using one (probably because i've never used one before). I think it'll be a nice touch. Thanks!

I'd liked to have seen No Emotion and Don't Know This Flag as separate answers

Yea after about a dozen responses I realized I should have done that, but thought it was too late to change. Oh well, maybe next time.

Thanks everyone for your help! I was able to get 44 responses, which is enough for what i'm doing. Once I have a summary, i'll post it here.
