The fleur de sel (which is my favorite salt) is worth like $12-16

Working today as well!
9/15/2015 1:40:28 PM
Make sure you cancel your subscription more than 5 days before your "official" next billing date, or they'll charge you. That's where they're getting people.

Got my box just about half an hour ago!It is the Paris Box. Contains:- Palais des Thes, teabags (3)- La Mere Poulard, shortbread biscuits (2 oz)- Charles Antona, fig jam (4 oz)- Henaff, pork liver confit (3 oz)- La Maison d'Armorine, chewy caramels (1 oz)- Domains des Vignes, whole mustard (7 oz)- Christian Potier, culinary sauce (2 single-serve pouches)All brands are fancy/famous/expensive. My educated guess is that the items would cost $20 at retail prices.I don't eat pork, don't like/use mustard, and don't care about the sauces. Glad I paid only $5!P.S. if you want to see the items, follow the link below:http://www.trytheworld.com/collections/franceI also added up the prices (proportional for the smaller items) and it comes to $28. I underestimated on the liver pate and the caramels. That tiny jar of the liver pate is $8.50! I did not think it would be that expensive as it is not duck or goose liver.

Have you canceled already? Painless?
9/23/2015 10:38:25 PM
Got mine too! I plan to cancel in the morning and will report back.
9/24/2015 3:18:18 AM
Just cancelled. They try three different times to try to get you to stay subscribed. Twice with a 50% off coupon and once with a coupon code. I documented everything since I read elsewhere that they "don't process" your cancellation and keep charging you. We shall see.
9/24/2015 9:44:19 AM
I just cancelled too, and yeah I took screenshots of every screen during the process! Thanks Obama Fhqwhgads for giving me a bad dream last night . I read your post just before sleeping. I had a dream in which I received a message from the company saying that because I had received the box so early, they were moving the date of cancellation ahead and had already charged my card because the date had been moved to today .
9/24/2015 10:37:54 AM
Received my box yesterday and cancelled. It's painless, however it doesn't seem to send you a confirmation e-mail. All it says is "the changes to your account have been made" after you cancel. I tried logging back in to see if anything changed and it wasn't clear it was cancelled so i cancelled again. Hopefully its taken care of.
9/24/2015 10:49:12 AM
free ain't free if it's $5
9/24/2015 11:54:10 AM
Got mine today, the package was in one piece but the contents were crushed and there was a broken container of Dijon. France sucks
9/24/2015 1:34:16 PM
But was your little packet of mystery sauce intact?!?![Edited on September 24, 2015 at 2:03 PM. Reason : sss][Edited on September 24, 2015 at 2:03 PM. Reason : sss2]
9/24/2015 1:59:43 PM
So everybody that ordered a box got France?
9/24/2015 3:59:08 PM
so they just give you like crackers and condiments and stuff? meh
9/24/2015 4:02:03 PM
I just threw it away. France liver crumbs, confetti, and dijon mustard spilt everywhere. Even the cookies were fucked.
9/25/2015 12:41:41 AM
That's so sad. But yeah, that confetti was annoying.
9/25/2015 9:05:15 AM
any idea what the sauce is? can't decide which food to prepare for dipping. i suppose chicken is a safe bet.
9/25/2015 11:07:31 AM
OEP thinks it's bearnaise. That seems like a safe assumption. You try it and let us know.

9/26/2015 3:58:57 AM
I wouldn't $5 lafta bucks for all that shit at the grocery store
9/26/2015 7:25:29 AM
So to cancel you send an email to cancel@trytheworld.comI did that but the reply was something about high-volume and delayed replies.
9/26/2015 1:14:09 PM
Cancel through the website and take screenshots of each step you complete in case they try to charge you later.
9/26/2015 1:59:32 PM
i dipped some chicken in the sauce and about gagged. dumped that shit out.the jam however is pretty solid.
9/26/2015 4:05:16 PM
To its credit, it's not really a "dipping" kind of sauce. Did you even warm it up? This is why we can't have nice things.
9/27/2015 1:15:11 AM
^ lol exactlyto those who have canceled, i would suggest also sending an email to sayhello@trytheworld.com to let them know you have canceled and asking for confirmation. i sent an email and received confirmation (from a human) that my cancellation was successful.
9/29/2015 1:01:13 AM
How do you know it was from a human?
9/29/2015 1:02:10 AM
because i don't think they have invested in any AI technology that can read emails and then craft appropriate personalized responses!
