I did not like this place. It always felt like a cafeteria, and I could never figure out where the cool kids were supposed to sit.

How can I eat if I don't even know where to sit?

I just had lunch at Slice of New York, their location in Brier Creek. Also ordered Rio Rancho to go. There was plenty of it. Suck it, plebeians.

5 years ago you could have gotten REAL pizza at Brier Creek... too bad they closed Uno's.

Why isn't there a restaurant that serves good chicago style deep dish pizza in Raleigh? If there is and I just don't know about it, could someone fill me in?

Check out http://www.acmepizzaco.com

They are out in Holly Springs. I've never been to Chicago but other people who have had Chi Pizza and ate at Acme said it was pretty close.

^^ Jet's 8 corner pizza is pretty awesome. Not sure if it's "Chicago Style," but it is a deep dish.

Still under renovations. I went back in June and they had all the types of pizza that I've ever seen there (including Rio Rancho). I always thought this place had the best pizza on Hillsborough.

Just think, a couple years ago they were under investigation for some pretty serious revenue understatement & tax evasion. Now they're renovating. A true feel good comeback story.
