Hey so I am organizing some efforts to get donations into local classrooms and I really need to do more research. Is anyone here a high school teacher or I guess any level of instruction. I have been talking to some friends who know stuff about social media and charity work working out some ideas to flesh out 'Science Tools for Schools', and I still need some answers filled in:Have you worked with any groups or companies in the past?what actions have you or colleagues taken, and what challenges have you faced in getting the supplies you need? websites, services, etcwho do you know who might benefit from supplies, too?basically trying to see what already exists to help teachers expand their curriculum with equipment, and if you work at a local highschool I am trying to expand the schools we work with, so PM me pleaseif you want some information you can out this blog I started https://sciencetoolsforschools.wordpress.com/thank you very much for your input

AweSome! Do you know anyone that has stated a project on that site? Did they get funding? How hard is it to get a project going on there?

A friend of mine did a project on donorschoose. For like 2400. It was funded in under 3 days.

Yeah I did a request on Donors Choose last year for like 4200 bucks. It was a 3D printer. Parents that work at places like SAS that have employer matching help a lot with this. Also donorschoose has certain periods when they match every donation.
