I'm using Windows 7, and I've noticed recently that I'm unable to access My Computer (or just Computer) from any Windows folders. The left-hand panel just displays Favorites, Libraries, Homegroup, Computer and Network, but I'm unable to expand any of them in order to view their contents; Libraries, Computer and Network have a searching icon over them when I attempt to view the Computer folder.Oddly, however, when I attempt to open a file from within an application, I'm able to expand and view the contents of those items in the Open window's left-hand panel.Does this sound like a virus or something I should be able to resolve myself?I'm able to access the individual drives if I type the mapped drive letters into the address bar, but I'm unable to access the drives by double-clicking them from the Computer window. Thanks in advance for any assistance.[Edited on May 22, 2015 at 1:52 PM. Never mind, this issue's resolved.I probably should have tried restarting my machine before seeking assistance here. Any idea what could have caused this? Just not enough RAM?

I'm thinking user error.
