I don't, but when I'm staying at my parents I use it obsessively - before morning poop, after morning poop, in the evening.

p.s. the most I've ever evacuated was 3.5 lbs

Yes, i have one in my bathroom and there is one in the gym.

I only step on them every once in a while though. The only reason is an asinine one. I just don't like being too reliant on that metric of health. I will step on to get an idea of what I weigh, but won't step on again for a month or so. I just don't like micromanaging my weight in that manner, and instead just go with a general idea of what I weigh....

I use ours on a daily basis. Mostly weigh myself at the same time every morning so I can get a somewhat accurate measurement since my weight fluctuates by a pound or two during the day.

I've definitely done my share of pre and post-poop weighings. And while I've filled up the bowl several times, I don't think it's ever gone down by more than 1.5 lbs. 3.5 lbs sounds like what would happen if you haven't shit for a couple days.

Whenever I feel especially fat...so once a month or so when I'm retaining water.

Stepped on yesterday to confirm that I am definitely fat--up fifteen pounds from my lowest weight. Clothes are uncomfortably tight, too.

I'm finally able to exercise again, but I'm afraid I'll also have to give up booze if I don't wanna be a bloated mess this spring. My doc and people make excuses: you haven't been able to exercise so of course you've gained weight! But I know that booze/hangover food aren't exactly helping matters much. Sucks but whatever.

I get on our scale here at the house at the same time every week. Friday mornings, post piss, pre putting on leg. The scale at the gym reads a little different, so just for consistency I use the one at home.

^^What happened?

I have a scale that I get on about twice a week for shits and giggles. Its so weird how much my weight fluctuates in a week's time then goes back to "normal" the next week.

someone doesn't buy into trend analysis, apparently

[Edited on February 17, 2015 at 1:58 PM. Reason : more detailed trend analysis, anyway...obviously a trend can span any length of time]

No. Trend analysis is great, and a useful tool. Like I said "I just don't like micromanaging my weight in that manner"

I haven't touched a scale in over a year because I am too lazy to replace the batteries.

what are you doing that simply weighing yourself every day qualifies as "management" of any kind (micro or otherwise)? do you have a tendency to make immediate and significant changes to your lifestyle after a single weigh-in?

Just stepped on it again. Lost six pounds of water weight apparently.

Yes, about daily, a plain-jane dial scale that is stuck at 176.

No, I don't have a scale. I'm not a woman and/or a fatass.

I don't need a scale to tell me I weigh approximately 160 lb.

NO! But that woulda been awesome.

I did research that business extensively. I was kinda annoying for a while, explaining to people what was happening to their livers, pancreases, gallbladders, etc...

I can quit drinking, but at times, I feel hopelessly hooked on cigarettes. I smoke cigarettes at the gym--even with nicotine gum.

I hear ya. It annoys me cause it's not just the booze that messes me up--too much carbs/sugar, too much fat...I start seeing the effects of that stuff really, really fast. And my people go down quick--they get all these shitty ailments in their 30s/40s where they're "not supposed" to indulge in any drugs, decent food, alcohol--nothing fun at all. They all do anyways, of course, and then they die quick from some random cancer...but their last five or ten years are in-your-face miserable.

I just don't want gout, diabetes, (non-fatal) strokes, COPD/emphysema, kidney/liver bullshit, sleep apnea, ulcers, etc...

I'm cool with a quick cancer/stroke death though. If I live too clean, then I get to enjoy Alzheimer's in my twilight years...or lay around the house in my 90s hoarding stereo equipment and whining about how I can't wear my compression hose cause I piss myself whenever I bend over to put them on.

I didn't own one until recently when I went on an anti-fatass campaign. Now I check that shit every morning. Nice to see the number getting lower every day.

I am pregnant with twins. I only weigh 108 pounds. I had a hard time gaining weight with my first baby, and now I need to gain almost double.

The standard is 24 pounds by 24 weeks. I'm at 13 weeks and haven't gained anything.

Yep and I weigh daily. Great way to keep tabs on myself because I don't pay much attention to my appearance on a regular basis.
