haven't watch cincy this year, but they're always really physical and bruising. they've also got freshman Gary Clark who we recruited some (I think he was probably our back up plan to Abu) - he's from Clayton and has been putting solid numbers.

These next two games - cincy and pitt, both at home - are pretty important. Following Pitt we play @UVa, Duke, UNC (could easily be 3 losses). Feel like we need to go 2-3 here. And then we get a slight break, playing @FSU and @Miami. Both very winnable games, but they are on the road.

I wouldn't consider a win over UNC at home to be a steal, we are a better team and I wouldn't be surprised if we are 1 point favorites.

^Don't agree at all. UNC has lost a couple of bad games and so have we. The difference is UNC also beat some highly ranked teams, and we have not.

Let's take a closer look at the "highly ranked teams" UNX has beat:

UCLA - Other loses include OU, Zaga, curb stomped by UK, and Alabama. They are currently 8-5, not ranked, and don't have a P5 win to date.

Florida - Other loses include Mia, Gtown, and KU. Also not currently ranked. Florida may get back to the rankings, but it will be more due to running through a weak SEC (UK not included) rather than being a solid team.

Ohio St. - Also lost to UL. They do not have a P5 W on the resume to date and are currently down 10 at half to Iowa (at home).

Don't act like UNX has a ton of signature wins already. They have beaten a few P5 teams that were ranked too high in the preseason rankings. So I guess you could say UNX has beat other UNX-type teams. Overrated teams that have numbers beside their name because of their name, not because of their performance.

I am bummed about the 4pm start today. I really want to watch this game. I am also sick, and so I have a perfect excuse to bail and go home and watch, but then everyone will (correctly), assume that I left for that reason, and not for the nasty cold reason.
