^^that thing is immaculate as of right now I need: a battery and associated wiring to relocate it to the trunko2 sensor need v band welded to turbine outlet flange (need to get a v band but i have the flange)have to make turbo elbow/downpipeneed to get a dump pipe for the wastegateprobably should empty old fuel from the tank, guess id need to drop the tank for thattheres probably other stuff I am forgetting..its going to take a bit of work to get it running but the noise it makes will be well worth it

^thanks for the tipI dont think the fuel pump has been upgraded yeti just ordered some parts..hopefully i can make a little progress this weekend. anyone know where i could get a v-band flange locally?want to make something like this:http://www.himni-racing.com/turbo-flanges-adapters/turbo-exhaust-adapters/v-band-adapter-flange-t3-5-bolt-to-3-v-band-ford-style?cPath=13_290&

I'll come over and drink beer while I watch you work. Does that count?[Edited on January 11, 2015 at 5:17 AM. Reason : I'll hold a wrench or two on the 'b' side]
1/11/2015 5:17:14 AM
seriously..if anyone wants to come hang out this weekend and mess with the car let me know finally got the t3/t4 flange to vband..have downpipe materials on the way, should be here tomorrow
4/2/2015 9:05:08 AM
those studs look like they're really fun to deal with
4/3/2015 9:55:04 AM
Those studs were only finger tight. I removed them and cut them down and they are the right length now. Got the downpipe modified and mounted. Connected vacuum lines and filled with fluids. I still need to check the tank to see how bad it looks, wire in a sohc dash plug, find a dipstick that fits, boost/vac gaugeThink that's it
4/3/2015 6:30:00 PM
no gasket?
4/7/2015 11:51:49 AM
yes a gasket will be usedpic was just showing the finished t3 to vband flangei finished the downpipe but the welds look like complete shit..this flux core welder burns through thin stuff so easy but its done and has no holes and it fits..just need to wire in a new dash plug and i think it will be ready to start
4/7/2015 10:09:43 PM
you probably dont care but you could wrap the ugly welds
4/7/2015 10:39:15 PM
dude that's stainless and you did it with flux core? I mean given the circumstances doesn't look that bad... I did mention i have a tig and could do the full blown 308 filler wire with pure argon & purge the inside thing on it right?
4/8/2015 7:13:13 AM
^^thanks for the tip , didn't think of that^yeah its stainless with flux core I didn't realize you had a tig setup, or maybe I forgot that you said that When the flange got here I just got impatient and started cutting and welding the pipe since I had a friend there to help. I probably should have waited till I had someone with the right equipment/skillsIf you ever have free time and wanna weld some stuff hit me up. I'd like to learn more about mig and tig, I've only used this flux core welder. Here's one of the welds on the bash bar that came out ok
4/8/2015 10:40:17 AM
so i sold this to a friend and we have been working on it the last couple of daysput in a walbro 255finished vacuum lines wired a s13 dash plug in place of the s14 plugdrained the fuel tank rewired maf tried cranking it last night and got nothing...ill have to start testing with the multimeter to figure out wtf is wrong.nothing from the fuel pump or anything, ecu is powering on though.
10/26/2015 11:59:37 PM
Ever get it running? I swapped a rb2" into my s13 years ago soldIt and some kid wrecked itLol that turbo is so large for that engine
12/2/2015 2:42:23 PM
sold it to a friend and its still sitting in my drivewayhe doesnt come over much to work on it so we will be towing it to his place soon..at the moment we are running into some wiring problems..
